Further to #8937 and #8944

I listed the defaults from the vscode extension:

".git/{info,lfs,logs,refs,objects}/**",
".git/{index,*refs,*HEAD}",

But as per our discussion, there's a more exhaustive list too:

".git/{branches,hooks,info,lfs,logs,lost-found,modules,objects,rebase-*,refs,rr-cache,svn,worktrees}/**",
".git/{*.lock,*.log,*.pid,*.sock,*HEAD,config,description,index,packed-refs}",

Probably overkill, but works for me.
