I got a good recommendation about GitHub Classroom today.

We should explore using it for future semesters, maybe starting in the spring.

It worked well. When students accept, it creates a repo for them in the same org, which feels a little cluttered. I would prefer if the students could own their own repos - so they can start building their own portfolio.
