Summary

Remove --no-cache from the C# playground server's az acr build command. The Azure CLI 2.91.0 installation used in CI rejects the option with ERROR: unrecognized arguments: --no-cache, causing the build/deployment step introduced in #12497 to exit with code 2.

Update the deployment test mock to reject the unsupported option and assert that the build still targets the expected registry and image. Existing deployment timeouts, retries, and live-image verification are unchanged.

Validation

  • Confirmed the updated regression test fails with the original command and reproduces CI's exit code 2.
  • All 9 deployment tests pass after removing the option.
  • Shell syntax, repository formatting, and targeted lint checks pass.
  • No live Azure build/deployment was run.

🟡 Changes recommended

The deployment test no longer guards against reintroducing the CI-breaking --no-cache flag and lacks assertions for the ACR registry/image arguments.
