With symlink-each, directories are created as real directories and each
managed file becomes a symlink into this repository. Files created by
applications alongside them are left alone and never enter the repository.
OS-specific files live in os/wsl/ and os/macos/ and are deployed by
mise.linux.toml / mise.macos.toml, which mise loads for the current OS
because auto_env = true is set in .miserc.toml (and globally in
~/.config/mise/miserc.toml).
~/.claude/settings.json is managed here, but Claude Code rewrites it; review
its diff before committing so work-internal settings are not published.
Deployed files are symlinks into this repository, so just edit them in place (either path is the same file) and commit here.
