AgentOnWeb terminal installations previously had no update reminders, and loading new host code required manually stopping and reinstalling the service. Terminal host 0.4.1 adds daily asynchronous npm checks, cached/offline behavior and opt-out, version reminders in the private management page, explicit
aow update, andaow service restartwith running-version verification.Updates retain the original global npm prefix and integration paths. Live shells block upgrade/restart unless
--forceis explicit, and maintenance pauses new shell creation. This releases only the terminal host; extensions and DSH remain 0.4.0 with connector protocol 1. The installer, release contract, English/Chinese guides and privacy/support copy are synchronized.Validation:
pnpm release:auditpassed locally with 351 tests passed and 1 optional skipped, all browser builds, Safari native manifest validation, reproducible archives, isolated production package installation and real shell input/output. Existing 0.4.0 hosts need one manual upgrade after finishing terminal work.
