Our compiled file (main.js) is located in /Applications/Boostnote.app/Contents/Resources/app/compiled/ on macOS, and you can change it if you want. Some user hacks it so it's hackable so to speak. (https://github.com/BoostIO/Boostnote/issues/886#issuecomment-333495390)
