Octopi needs to be updated to a modern OS version, bookworm is legacy

I installed this before looking at what Debian version it was using. Turns out it is legacy bookworm which is no longer being actively updated. This needs to be brought up to Trixie which I think has been out for at least half a year now. Octoprint still lists this method as the best way to install, but this is not true at this time since it is so old.

Possibly update this project, or remove it from octoprint recommended install methods?

Trixie on RaspberryPi was released on October 2: https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/trixie-the-new-version-of-raspberry-pi-os/
And it looks like the maintainer of this repo is tracking work related to migration to Trixie already here: #867.

Just loaded Octopi. In addition to incorporating Bookworm OS it also uses a 32bit version. If Trixie incorporation is down the road request the 64bit version of Bookworm be incorporated in the interim.

I ended up just installing octoprint the manual way on base trixie. It was a bit more work and uses a different service for the pi camera, but it works great.

@xamindar I ended up reinstalling octoprint the manual way on Trixie also. Initially had issues with getting the camera to work, but after some fiddling have the webcam working. The manual way is allot more effort and subject to user error. I really appreciate how Octopi sets everything up, specifically mjpg_streamer, correctly the first time. If one is using a Pi solely for Octoprint, a 32-bit version of Bookworm is ok for now. ...but if one is using the same Pi for other things on the network, the 32 bit version is not. Since many folks don't have the ability or desire to install the Octoprint software manually, I respectfully request the Octopi author upgrade the priority of an upgrade for Octopi that incorporates 64 bit Trixie. This will ensure Octopi remains relevant and the great Octoprint installation go-to that has become the standard.

@nschertz I am aware but I am also kinda busy with my personal life ATM. I have a newborn and apartment move coming up.
If you or anyone wants to help push it fowards, test, tell me what is missing that would greately help.

There is a nightly build you can test out and even flash with a rpi-imager using:

Its built over trixie and might be functional, I just cant really test it ATM.
