#!
/bin/bash
#
Guarded with `if` rather than `set -e`: this script is sourced, so `set -e` would
#
leave errexit switched on in the caller's own shell after it returns.
#
#
Activation is gated on the venv existing, not on `uv sync` succeeding. A failed
#
sync must not activate a venv it never created -- that reported a consequence
#
("no such file or directory") over the cause. But this is also the per-shell
#
activate command, so a sync that fails with a working venv already on disk
#
(uv missing from PATH, a network hiccup) must still leave the caller activated.
#
#
Say so when that happens: a persistent failure (an unresolvable dependency after
#
a pyproject change) reads exactly like a transient one once uv's own error has
#
scrolled past, and silently activating a stale venv at status 0 is how a wrong
#
environment goes unnoticed. Status stays 0 so `source ./init && ...` keeps
#
working offline, so the warning is the only signal there is.
#
#
The rc is unset before the last command of each branch, so the script's exit
#
status is the activation's, and nothing but VIRTUAL_ENV lands in the caller.
